I’m all about abundance—in your career, in your life, in your home. Whether you’re a mom of three or child free, there’s something for you here.
Living as a conscious human restores clarity and energy to your life. You hold the power to create change and produce your own luck. I’m here to help you navigate through the bullsh*t and to hold your hand while you make it to the other side. And why me?
Once upon a time—as the story goes—lots of shitty things happened and then some wonderful things happened and then she lived happily ever after. The end.
Um, but not totally.
Life is in the details. The trials and the triumphs. Like being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and three boys at home. Facing death is a revelation, to say the least. It forced me to ask, “Why am I fighting so hard to live when I don’t even know how to live?” Life had to mean more than just barely surviving, living paycheck to paycheck, and believing existence meant taking up space. Let me explain.
My professional background is in mental health. I worked in government agencies to support and understand children’s behaviors within high risk families and trauma situations. As a Social Worker, I saw firsthand that hurt people hurt people. So, I know—if you want to heal your children, your family, your world—you must first heal Your Self.
But before Social Work, I was a mom. A scared, confused, and very young mom. Life wasn’t useful to me. I almost called it quits. But then my son happened and with him my reason to live.
When my son was four years old, the school complained about behavior issues. None of my mental health training helped. The tactics offered by therapists got us nowhere. But where physicians failed, my personal quest for answers in neurobiology and the mind-body connection prevailed. It was there I found the tools to support my son and transform both our lives.
These mindfulness tools worked at home and in business. They worked as a parent and as a partner. They blew my mind. So, I created The Mom Is In Control Podcast. It was born from my desire to empower women worldwide to live conscious and fulfilling lives.
A few years later, cancer paid a visit. But she passed on and I stayed here. I did not face death just continue life with eyes half open. Death shook me and woke me up to a new reality.
Moment by moment, I learned to manifest the life I craved despite the obstacles. Listen, it’s not about magical woo woo voodoo. It’s about mindfulness and intention. It’s about aligning with how you want to feel and evolving daily.
It’s not easy, but it’s possible.
It is SO possible.
You are possible.
Your best life is possible.
I’m here to help you get back to your essence.
