Episode 451: #Throwback: My Unconventional Nighttime Routine That Guarantees Less Overwhelm The Next Day

Do you know what your emotional triggers are?

If you don’t, do you have the tools to help you recognize them?

On the podcast last week, I talked all about how to recognize your own emotional triggers and identify how to overcome them.

Too often we live our lives by default. A key to overcoming this “default mode” is to master your emotional triggers.

You might be asking yourself:

How is this possible? How can I master my emotional triggers?

One critical step to overcome your triggers is to remember that we as humans will ALWAYS have triggers.  The key is to GROW from the experience.

If someone triggers something in you, recognize them as clues to help you heal. See them as opportunities for growth.

"We are not a victim of our emotions or thoughts. We can understand our triggers and use them as tools to help us respond more objectively."  -Elizabeth Thornton

My challenge for you: Ask yourself, “How do I cope? Do I blame others for how I feel?” Recognize that these questions will unlock some wounds that might need to heal. Be prepared to confront those so you can heal and start mastering your triggers.

We were not created to do this alone. If you aren’t sure where to start, you can CLICK HERE here to set up an intro call with my team member Sausha to see if my coaching is a perfect fit for what you need.

In this episode, I talk about:

  • Establishing a routine that works for you

  • Why it's important to take time for yourself

  • How to avoid decision fatigue
