Episode 560: Indecision and Overwhelm Are Self-Sabotage
Motherhood. Have you ever felt alone in this journey?
Postpartum anxiety. This is a very real thing for so many women.
This week I talked with Gabby Bernstein who opened up about her journey with postpartum anxiety as a new mom.
Why is this topic so taboo when so many women have to deal with it?
During this postpartum state, it is perfectly acceptable to slow down to acknowledge what you need. Pay attention to how your body is manifesting what you need.
How would we show up differently if we were more like the goose and not afraid of others’ judgment?
Be patient with yourself. Slow down to acknowledge your needs.
"Life is meant to feel good. We live in a time of fear and uncertainty, but that’s not how things are meant to be. We are meant to experience joy and serve one another in profound ways."
Embrace this time. Recognize you aren’t alone.
Gabby shared some wonderful resources for other women dealing with postpartum anxiety. Be sure to check out Postpartum Support International here.
Don’t be afraid to reach out for additional support. You aren’t alone.
In this episode, I talk about:
Why we buy into the limiting belief of overwhelm
There is a reason why you say yes to everything that is on our plate
Why I believe chronic overwhelm is self-sabotage
